THE NOVELTY OF IT ALL

I'd like to add a personal reflection for all of us.  It's the basic reality of life and of human existence.  At first there is excitement and the desire to be present and help.  But eventually life will take over and the novelty of all of this will wear off.  This is to be expected.  I'm writing this to let you know I'm aware of all of this and that I have absolutely no problem with it.  

We know you all love us and are concerned and care.  That part won't change.  But life will go on, since most of you do have one! and other things will become just as important.  So, when that happens, don't do a guilt trip on yourself.  Embrace the change and live into it. Reconnect if you can and so choose.  

"Be ye compassionate as your Father in heaven is compassionate." - Jesus, Luke 6.36.  Be gentle with yourselves and each other.
