We have a time!!!!
Ron had his first radiation treatment this morning at 9am. We were outa there by 9.20 and toddled over to the Varsity Inn for breakfast. Unfortunately, but fortunate for her, Patty wasn't there but he had a nice breakfast. Ron had sausage and bisquits which I tasted. Mmmmm. Delish!
Radiation is in conjunction with the oral chemo which, we're told, assists the radiation in honing in on the cancer cells. After the treatment, Ron looked no worse for the wear. So, one down, lots to go!
Five folks have graciously volunteered to take Ron to his treatments, one for each day of the week. I'm not naming names unless they allow me to. Just know that their kindness will be of great help to me and to him. Anywhoooo, as you offer your prayers, give thanks for the Rondrivers. We all appreciate their kindness....and yours' as well!
